Please read these terms carefully before engaging Skillfix International's services. By using our platforms or services you agree to these terms.
By accessing or using any Skillfix International service — whether online, in person, or via third-party referral — you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and agree to comply with these terms in full alongside all applicable Kenyan and East African laws.
Skillfix International provides professional development, career advisory, and corporate training services including but not limited to CV writing, LinkedIn optimisation, interview coaching, executive transformation programmes, leadership workshops, HR policy writing, and premium membership packages across East Africa.
All payments are processed via M-Pesa Lipa Na M-Pesa (Paybill 4017787) or such other methods as communicated at time of purchase. Prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) unless stated otherwise.
Refund Policy: Service fees are non-refundable once work has commenced. Where a deliverable has not yet been started, a refund request must be submitted within 24 hours of payment. Refunds for membership subscriptions are issued on a pro-rated basis within the first 30 days only. Corporate training deposits are non-refundable after programme design has commenced.
All content, templates, frameworks, training materials, methodologies, and branding on Skillfix platforms are the exclusive property of Skillfix International and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, redistribute, resell, or repurpose any Skillfix content or materials without prior written consent.
Documents produced for clients (CVs, cover letters, LinkedIn content, profiles) are licensed exclusively to the commissioning client and may not be resold or redistributed.
Skillfix International shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to unsuccessful job applications, interview outcomes, or career decisions made on the basis of our advisory. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service in the 12 months preceding the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
Skillfix International is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019 and all applicable data protection regulations across East Africa. We collect: name, email, phone number, current role, and service requirements submitted via our website or WhatsApp; career history, qualifications, achievements, and personal goals shared during document production or coaching; M-Pesa transaction confirmations and payment references; and pages visited, browser type, device type, and general location data to improve our website experience.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We may share limited data with trusted third-party service providers (email delivery, payment processing) under strict confidentiality agreements. Corporate client data may be shared with the commissioning organisation solely for the purpose of the contracted training programme.
Under the Data Protection Act 2019 you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@skillfix.org. We will respond within 5 business days.
Client career documents and service records are retained for 3 years following the last service engagement. Payment and billing records are retained for 7 years in accordance with Kenyan tax and financial regulations. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
Standard document turnaround is 24–48 hours from the time a completed brief is received and payment is confirmed. Rush delivery (same-day) is available at an additional fee subject to team availability. Timelines for corporate training programmes are agreed upon in the proposal stage.
All standard services include up to two rounds of revisions at no additional charge, to be requested within 7 days of delivery. Premium membership clients are entitled to unlimited revisions on all documents throughout their membership year. Revision requests must include specific, actionable feedback.
The Skillfix Premium Membership (KES 8,000/year) grants unlimited access to specified services as listed at the time of purchase. Membership is non-transferable, activates immediately upon payment confirmation, and auto-renews annually unless cancelled in writing at least 7 days before the renewal date.
Corporate engagements are governed by a separate Scope of Work and Service Agreement issued prior to commencement. A deposit of 50% of the agreed programme fee is required to confirm booking dates and commence programme design. The balance is due on or before the first day of delivery.
